Part 1: What Are You So Scared Of?

Phillip can feel the thud of his heart slamming into his chest, a sensation that’s all too familiar to him whenever he’s around Colton. His mind replays the six words that have just fallen out of the slender blond’s lips, and with his conscience currently incapacitated, he swears that there is fire in them. The words sound like a dare, a challenge, as if tempting Phillip to fall and knowing he won’t follow through with it. He wants to prove them wrong, to shout “I already am in love with you, dummy!” but his conscience chooses that moment to make its presence known. Instead, the words Phillip speaks are “What the hell is that supposed to mean?”

I know some of y’all have been expecting the next part of my Phixon fic, to which I say… I’m working on it. I promise. I’ve had a lot going on and I haven’t really had the time to sit down and write like I’ve wanted to. I’ve started the second part two or three times now (and I actually almost finished it once) but I didn’t like the way any of those versions were going, so I started over.

But you’ll be happy to hear I’ve got the whole thing planned now. It’s going to be about six or seven parts, depending on how long each one is, but I know what’s going on in each of those parts, plotwise. My schedule should be clear for a while now, and I’m definitely going to start writing either today or tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll like the way it turns out, and if so, I promise it’ll be up really, really soon.

Again, sorry for making you guys wait so long. I promised myself I would never be one of those writers who say they’re going to update but then never do, so believe me, I hate this as much as you guys do. But if everything goes according to plan, you guys won’t have to wait for very much longer.

Oh my gosh, yes. That would be awesome! :D
